Peter Fraterdeus founded Semiotx.com, in 1994. Based in Galena, Illinois, three miles from the Mississippi River, we're in the far northwest corner of Illinois in the 'Midwest' of the US.

In addition to our design services, Semiotx.com offers technology consulting services for both individual Macintosh users and large installations. We specialize in OS X transition, with nearly ten years of Unix administration, and over twenty years of Mac experience (starting in 1984!), we have our feet firmly in both past and future!
